The gbc/acm will have it's annual meeting and election at 6:30 pm on Thursday June 22 in MIT room E51-335 (the Tang center of MIT, at the corner of Amherst and Wadsworth Sts.)

The nominating committee agreed to recommend extending the terms of the current officers for a second year (fiscal 2018, which runs from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018). This means the officers nominated are:

Edward Freedman continuing as gbc/acm president

John Sopka continuing as gbc/acm vice president and treasurer

Mary-Anne Wolf continuing as gbc/acm secretary

Please come to the meeting to express your approval or disapproval of these nominations.

The business meeting will be followed at 7 pm in the same room by a talk by Raman Prasad of Harvard on "Dataverse: Building a Digital Repository".
